Chapter 48: Analyzing Contrast Mode images
Setting Description
Curve Fitting Calculates and plots a perfusion curve based on the following formula*:
, where:
y = Contrast signal (pixel intensity)
A = Peak of curve
B = Slope of the curve
C = Contrast signal offset
t = Time

To create the curve:
1. Click
Start Curve Fitting and select a data point on the graph at the
transition from the base line to the perfusion period.
2. Click a data point where the data begins to plateau and then click
Finish

The system calculates and plots the red perfusion curve.
3. Click
Export and export the data as an image or as a CSV file for further
analysis.

Chart Y Axis
Setting Description
Contrast
Select to plot the contrast intensity information from the contrast data, and to
make the Percent Area controls and the Calculation controls available.
B-Mode Select to plot the grayscale intensity data from the B-Mode image.
Auto Scale Select to view a system-calculated best-fit scale value.
Scale Max Type a scale value between 0-100,000.
