CAN is used for laptop communications with M400/M600/M800/M880, SDC1/SDC2/MDC, old-

style ADL8, BR2, and the new PDM16 and PDM32. The CAN cable connects to a PC parallel port,

whereas the UTC allows CAN communication via a USB port.

USB is used for laptop communications with the SDL and ADL2/EDL2.
